It's been four weeks since I last did one of these. This is mostly because I haven't had anything to update.
I have made a number of purchases (Forgive me Father for I have sinned, again, willingly and with forethought). I has after some BattleTech minis and some Blood Bowl stuff. I have managed to complete six goblins for my orc team. Reasonably happy with that. There are some in progress Skaven. I am less happy about that. I do now own all the minis I want for my Nurgle team. Varag is back there somewhere. When I start typing Varag the spullchucker seems to want to autocorrect it to Nigel. I ask myself if this is irony in action.BattleTech is proving to be a pain in the arse. Which hasn't stopped me acquiring another 15 mechs. At least in the UK. Getting hold of it is becoming a pain. There is plenty of stuff that is just not available. What is available appears in batches. Intermittently. I am hoping that BattleTech Gothic dies on the vine as maybe they will get some regular stuff on the shelf. There is some work in progress.Blood Bowl is not much better. There is a load of stuff that is unavailable on what appears to be a permanent basis. Unlike BattleTech, there is a fairly brisk second hand market. Like a lot of G Dub stuff, one box is not enough and two is not enough.Star Wars Legion is back on the bench again. I had an unpainted Snow troopers ready to go. There are already a few in the collection but I wanted to finish these off. It's another game with stock issues. I am still looking for some dismounted scouts at the right price. So I have seven of these done.
There was one unit left for Sludge left to paint. For some reason I wanted hussars on the table. I don't have much cavalry for the game. The plan still calls for some more units. Heavy cavalry being one of the most important. This means another twelve horses and their riders. If I really pushed it, I wanted two of these units. This seems like hard work. Given the complex nature of some of the figures and the mounted nature of others, my complex calculations call this twenty five complete. I am wondering what to do next.
