Rapidly becoming the bane of my life |
One of the changes I want to make is to finish of these damn Viking women minis. I always have to have a few civilians lying around for games to give the games a bit of local colour. These, and some overly complicated mage types have been hanging around in various forms on un-completion for months. So before the week is out, I want these minis boxed off, so to speak. Then I can concentrate on something I feel is more meaningful.
Crack on with them you'll feel loads better shifting them off of the paint table. I've done some similar work this week on my own painting table.
ReplyDeleteI think all the bad weather we've all been getting has added to the monotony of the winter blues!
Have finished them now and will post the pics up soon. Camera and cat willing, I'll do the pics in a bit
DeleteKeep going, my good man. I seem to be suffering the same lack of painting mojo at present, that and a blasted sore throat.
ReplyDeleteI have big plans for the paint queue. I look at a lot of gamers who claim to be prodigious in the amount they paint. They either have no life or they have a monkey which can paint hidden under the stairs. I too now have a sore throat. This means that I am now excused talking privileges so I don't have to make any decisions.
DeleteHah, I'm just getting my mojo back lately, but I know how it feels when everything stops.
ReplyDeleteI had huge problem just like you, I hate leaving half painted miniatures on my work desk (you know, can't leave things half done like that :P), but then again, painting them just makes for a rush job. And rush jobs are never good.
If I got that right you are both sick? Hope you feel better soon!
I have some of my mojo back, I just keep running out of energy because of the cold I have. Still, sounds like my paint bench isn't under two feet of snow so I guess I am luckier than you in that respect.
DeleteEveryone I know, almost, has a cold at the moment. At least it's not bird flu.
Your work queue seems to be doing pretty well btw.
